History

Hinz Trucking is a family-owned business built on integrity, hard work, and strong relationships.

Founded in 1985 by Dale Hinz and his sons Rod, Scott, and Todd, the company began in Holdrege, Nebraska, with just ten tractors and ten hopper-bottom trailers.

As customer needs grew, so did we – adding equipment like convertibles, dry vans, and flatbeds before ultimately focusing on what we do best: flatbed freight. In 1992, we moved operations to our current location along I-80, giving us the room to expand and the convenience of easy interstate access for our drivers.

Today, Hinz Trucking operates across 48 states with a fleet of 200 trucks and more than 350 flatbed trailers.

Now a third-generation company, Alec Hinz has joined the team to continue our tradition of family leadership and forward momentum.
